Book a call

Privacy

Your privacy at MUUS.

What we collect, and where it goes. A plain account of what this site does with your information.

Updated 28 October 2026

The short version

We collect what you give us when you reach out: through a form on this site, the booking calendar or email. If we sent you a personal link to our deck, we also see how that deck was read. We may also measure visits with the tools named below, so we know which pages help and which companies find us. We never sell your information for money, we never try to name a visitor who has not written to us, and every outside tool stays off for a browser that sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, or for anyone who opts out below.

What we collect

  • If you send a brief through the onboarding form, we collect what is in the form: company, your name, email, phone if you add it, project type, budget range, timeline, any links you share and your notes. Every field is one you filled in.
  • If you use the work with us form or a brief form on another page, we collect your name, company, email and what you need, plus how you found us: the campaign tags in the link you arrived on, the site that sent you, the page you landed on and, for ads, the click id the ad platform adds to the link.
  • If you sign up for field notes, we collect your email address.
  • If you email contact@muusmedia.com, we have whatever you send, as anyone would.

Where it lives

Briefs and enquiries from the forms on this site go to Mothership, MUUS's own operations system, which emails our team, and a copy goes to the private lead store that sits behind our deck. If neither can be reached, the form opens an email to us instead. Field notes sign ups are kept in a private MUUS company repository. Access is limited to MUUS, and submissions are only used to answer you and keep a record of it.

Booking a call

The booking page embeds Google's appointment calendar. When it loads, Google may set its own cookies, and the booking itself is handled by Google under Google's privacy policy. We receive the name, email and answers you give when you book.

Personal deck links

When we write to someone, we may send a personal link to our deck with their name in the address. On that link only, the deck tells MUUS that it was opened, how long it stayed on screen, which screens were viewed and whether Book a call was pressed. It goes to Mothership, our own system, and stays with MUUS. It sets no cookie, it does not record your IP address and it is never shared with advertisers. None of the tools below ever run on a personal link.

How far a visit got

On this site and in our deck, the page tells Mothership, our own system, how far a visit got: which pages, sections and slides were seen and for how long, which buttons were pressed, and which steps of Start a project or Book a call were reached. It uses a random id for the open tab only. It sets no cookie, never includes what you type, your name or your email, and stays with MUUS. When you open a deck link we sent, it also carries the brand name we put in that link.

The tools we use

Each one loads only when we have switched it on, and never for a browser that sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, or after you opt out. Visitors in the EU, the UK and Switzerland see a banner first, and nothing on this list loads for them unless they press Accept.

  • Vercel hosts this site. Like any host it receives your IP address and browser details to deliver the pages. Vercel Web Analytics counts page views and the form events below without cookies and without identifying you.
  • Apollo, company level only. Apollo's script sets its own cookie and receives the pages you view, your IP address and browser details, which it matches to a company name, such as the business whose network you are on. We see companies, not people, and we have not turned on Apollo's person level option.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag. LinkedIn receives the pages you view, your IP address, browser details and its own cookie, and if you are signed in to LinkedIn it can match the visit to your account. We see only totals (job titles, industries, company sizes) and can show MUUS ads on LinkedIn to past visitors. LinkedIn removes direct identifiers within 7 days.
  • Google Analytics, and Google Ads only if we run ads. Google receives the pages you view, your IP address, browser details and its own cookies, and counts visits and sent forms. Google Consent Mode keeps it denied by default in the EU, the UK and Switzerland.
  • Meta Pixel, built but switched off until we run Meta ads. When on, Meta receives the pages you view, your IP address, browser details and its own cookie, so we can show MUUS ads on Facebook and Instagram to past visitors. It never runs on a page with a film.
  • TikTok Pixel, built but switched off until we run TikTok ads. When on, TikTok receives the same kinds of details as Meta, for ads on TikTok. It never runs on a page with a film.
  • Microsoft Advertising (the UET tag), built but switched off until we run Bing ads. When on, Microsoft receives the same kinds of details as Meta, for ads on Bing.

What these tools hear

The events these tools hear are that a page, a case or the deck was viewed, that a form was started or sent, that a call time was asked for and that Book a call or the deck was clicked, with the kind of form only. They never receive what you type into a form, your name, your email or your company. Each provider handles what it receives under its own policy: Vercel, Apollo, LinkedIn, Google, Meta, TikTok and Microsoft.

Cookies and storage in your browser

MUUS keeps a few small things in your browser, never shared with anyone. How you found us for this visit (campaign tags, the site that sent you, the page you landed on), the random tab id and the pages and slides seen stay in session storage until you close the tab. A Start a project you have not sent yet is kept in local storage for up to 14 days so you can pick it up again, and is deleted the moment you send it. For visitors in the United States, the first time you found us is kept in local storage for 90 days, so a brief sent later can still say where you came from; it is skipped if you opt out, and in the EU, the UK and Switzerland it is kept only after you accept. Your privacy choice, and whether you accepted or declined, is kept for 13 months. The outside tools above set their own cookies only while they are on.

Our cookies page lists each item and how long it stays.

Your privacy choices

Opting out keeps every tool above, apart from hosting, off in this browser on this site. Under California and Texas law, letting advertising tags see a visit can count as selling or sharing personal information or as targeted advertising, so this button is also our Do Not Sell or Share link. A browser that sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is opted out already, with nothing to press. You can also opt out by writing to contact@muusmedia.com. Every page has a Your privacy choices link in the footer while any tool is on.

How long we keep it

Visit and event records kept by MUUS, and your choices in your browser, are kept for 13 months. Briefs, emails and the record of a conversation are kept while we are talking or working together, and you can ask us to delete them at any time. The outside providers keep what they receive under their own policies.

Your rights by state

If you live in California, Texas or another state with a privacy law, you can ask to know what personal information we hold about you, get a copy, correct it or delete it, and opt out of selling, sharing and targeted advertising. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. Write to contact@muusmedia.com and we answer within 45 days; you can name someone to ask for you. If we turn down a request, write back to appeal and we will review it. In Texas you can also contact the Texas Attorney General if we do not resolve an appeal.

When this changes

If how we handle data changes in a meaningful way, we will update this page and the date above. This page describes our practices in plain language; it is not legal advice. Questions go to contact@muusmedia.com.
