How a set comes together
Built for the frame, not the room.
We start from the shot list: what the camera sees, how the product moves and how the talent works inside it. Then the set is drawn, built and lit.
Where a build would cost more than the frame is worth, we build it in post. GUESS turned two days of practical sets in Los Angeles into a private jet and a boat.
How we start
Start with a Strategy Sprint.
A set starts on paper: two weeks on the treatment, the frames and the build, before anything is cut or painted.

Do you build sets in Austin?
Yes. Nike for JD Sports was shot on four sets in our Austin studio: three Nike styles, three films and the stills.
Where else do you build?
On location. GUESS eyewear was shot on practical sets in Los Angeles and extended in post.
Practical or CGI?
Both, often in one film. Project Articulate for Cobra Puma Golf pairs a holographic lab built in CGI with live footage on the course, and OKAPA carried a 3D product into a campaign shot in real rooms.
Who designs the set?
Our team designs it with the treatment, so the set, the light and the edit come from the same idea.
What does a set cost?
It depends on the build, the days and how much of it lives in post. The first call costs nothing. Work starts with a Strategy Sprint or a scoped project, agreed after that call. There are no prices on this site.
